do i have to do this over the phone? often they will ask me to come to the branch and it’s very far and i work full time, besides. anyone ever have this problem?

another thing………they needed my ssn. i’m so uncomfortable giving this out ever, but does the bank absolutley need it? online even? i supposed i used it when i opened the checking account, but it’s been years really. i’ve forgotten.
