I heard that if you pay credit card bills with online banking that it wont help you build score. Im trying to pay off a credit debt and im paying with online banking instead of driving to the bank.

it isn’t BAD, it just doesn’t affect it at all.
if you want to build a credit score then you can start with credit cards but it isn’t going to do anything BIG for your score. if you want a great credit score get a loan or something. that is big.

My bank keeps asking me if I want to do the online banking. I keep saying no. I am concerned about the security of online banking. I know sending checks in the mail can be a risk to. However, I just think its a bigger risk putting your personal information on the world wide web for someone to gain access to. Is it logical to feel this way?

Its up to you. I have been banking online for 4 years. Never had a problem and never have to buy stamps and envelopes.

If I set up online banking on the computer and then decide to cancel online banking will that cancel my bank account.

no…they will just cancel the access that you have over the net….you will still need to close the account if thats what you want to do
