A question from Wayne K: Is HSBC online banking safe to use to pay you’re HSBC credit card? Is it safe to give them you’re bank info?
I just recently got a credit card with them and would like to use their online banking center to pay my credit card. I see a lot of complaints with their United States banking operations. I would like to know if other consumers who use them have good experiences with them or bad experiences. I know they are a world bank but it seems they have a lot of complaints in the U.S.A.

Are you registered for internet banking? you need to register then you will set up your security number. Next to last number means: 123456 …5 being next to last !!!

Question by Nacho-Nick: HSBC and rapport security problems, is it safer to cancel my internet banking all together?
I have hsbc banking and I have rapport software which has messed up my PC making it so unbearably slow. If my account got hacked and I didnt have rapport software does this mean HSBC will not pay out? If this is the case is it safer for me to quit internet banking all together?
Thanks

Good question, I would ask HSBC.I use HSBC but refuse to install Rapport. What you could do, is just use it when you do banking. All other times turn it off. I have heard lots of people say it slows browsing.
Click Start –> All Programs –> Trusteer Rapport –> Stop Rapport.

I already have the financing and charter under way. I just want to offer my customers more interest than ING or HSBC. I will appreciate any ideas other than the conventional.
