This is a project from a product management class I’m in. The concept behind this interface design is to make online banking, and personal finance management as a whole, feel and look like using your Windows or Mac desktop. The visual component is only a small portion of the total package though. The entire concept includes an open-source design that lets users create their own financial products and tools and a microeconomic framework upon which heuristic-based financial recommendations can be made. Holy buzzwords, Batman! And I’m no fan of that use of passive voice at the end, either. Special thanks to Saravanan, Avinash, and Peter without whom I’d surely be sitting on a couch eating Cheetos.
