Online Banking?

My current bank has 5 branches and they ****! I want to open a online checking and savings account. I thought online would be better because I will be moving soon to go to school and this way I will not have to worry about locations.

I am not sure if I should get ING or WaMu.
I like WaMu for the checks.

Wamu for checking account and has a alot of branches. Ing for money you want to save and not use for a while.
I have wamu, I love that I can do all the banking online, but if someday I need to step in to a branch, I know that I can do so. Why not open up bank accounts at both banks?
See which you like better, if you like both after awhile then just keep accounts at both banks. That’s allowed. A lot of people keep their money in separate banks. Just go to their websites and open up accounts.
The thing with ING is that it’s takes a few days to transfer to you bank when you want cash and as far as I know, you can’t go to any ATM. I used to have ING but switched to WAMU because it’s all instant. I can transfer money from checking to savings and vice versa and it’s instant. The savings rate is higher then ING last time I checked as well.
