Is it legal to gamble on the internet?
I’m in Ohio.
I got a letter from my bank saying “change in policy: each cardholder agrees not to use that card for any transaction that is illegal under applicable law, including “restricted transactions” as defined in the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.
I thought it was legal to gamble on the internet? millions of people do it.
Is gambling online always legal? is just in certain situations?

TRY SPADECLUB. ITS 20 A MONTH AND LEGAL…..THE REASON GAMBLING IS ILLEGAL IN MOST STATES ON THE INTERNET IS BECAUSE THE GAMING IS UNFAIR AND ALL THE MONEY GOES OVERSEAS AND THE COMPANIES DONT HAVE TO PAY TAXES.. AMERICAN MONEY SHOULD STAY IN AMERICA IN MY PERSPECTIVE.
I thank it all deepens on wear you r living it and how much money
Internet gambling is illegal for US citizens. Contact your congressional representatives in DC if you want this to change. Until then, sorry…
It’s not legal for Americans and you cannot use your credit card (although there are ways).
Inm some states it is in others not. There is a trenmd to prohibit internet hambling. Some states like California have flawed legislation prohibiting gambling so people can do it.Many small towns and cities permit internet gambling as a source of revenue. The Federal Government frowns on it but they have not been able to ban it. One stated reason fpor banning it is a fear of money laundering and since many of the sites are outside the US, the government is worried because they don’t want money to go outside the US, Personally I am not opposed to gambling of any kind, because people should be able to use their money for that purpose.
