   Be very cautious dealing with the HSBC. When I had a credit card with them, they misrepresented some conditions and wound up hiking my interest rate way up as a result of a lie I was told by one of their employees. Unfortunately, I wasn’t savvy enough at the time to get employee number and name to accompany the information I was given, so I had to chase down the money to pay them off WAY in advance of when I had planned to do so. BIG pain. Steer clear is my advice.
