I can’t access my online bank..Chase..unless I flush the DNS server first. Why is this? THis is true in both IE and Firefox. Any help is appreciated.
This is the same on both my computers..one is wireless laptop using a Linksys G-router..the other is a wired desktop using a Dynex router.

You didnt mention if you have a router or not connecdted but maybe the settings on your router are preventing the pc from recieving the proper information back from the router.
other thought , are you trying to connect to multiple accounts on the same pc without disconnecting or another family member connected to the same site on another pc. I’ve had one occasion on an older router where my parent was on the same website, and I couldn’t connect to it at the same time.
dns from wikapedia shows dns as in a sence(my words) that its there to change the ip address to an [english name] and make it easyier to understand to us.
I hope this gives you some direction
