I wish he would socialize healthcare. In this country I apparently have the God-given, government-controlled right to be protected against my wallet being stolen, but I don’t have the right to be treated for curable diseases… tell me how that makes any sense.
Well, we all know that Obama wants to bankrupt the coal industry, so there’s that.
Healthcare will be his primary object.. simply because if Government controls that it’s a gateway to virtually everything else. (For the public good you understand) .
Actually, Obama was the candidate that supported net neutrality.
I was afraid for the internet, as McCain voted against it.
Guess it won’t be the Alaskan oilfields; they’re already “nationalized” by the state.
I wish he would nationalize the film industry. I’m tired of all this crap from Hollywood and these outrageously paid thespians. We need the government to step in and produce focused, quality entertainment for us all. Maybe we could even divert some money from aids research to produce some new zany fun-loving reality shows. Just look at the cornucopia of well produced family-oriented movies that came out of the Soviet Union. Why can’t we step up to the plate and say we can do better than that! Yes, we can! Yes, we can!
Healthcare would make some sense. If done well it would probably make the whole healthcare system better value for money.
Go to the website. There are no plans to nationalize the industries . The only exception is the banks and that is not decided yet. In Obama’s plans for America there is no mention of the fairness doctrine so who is advocating that?
