I would like to close my online banking account with Bank of America – can I do it online? I’m living outside of the USA – therefore, I can not go to their bank. If I am unable to close it online, what should I do? Write a letter or what?

Its been about a year so i dont know if things have changed but I was an account manager for BOA if you look on the back of your card call the toll free num if you are out of country go online and log into your account, look up toll free num they will give you an international long distance toll free num to call, or go to the contact us section and email your needs ask them to call you or send a num where you can reach them internationaly. It costs you nothing for the online service. If the accounts are still open, it may be a service that you may use or need in the future. If the accounts are closed, the service will shut down itself, or you can call the (800) number on the back of the card.
