Bank cheque clearing question?

I placed a cheque in to my bank account on Wednesday morning this week. I use internet banking and have now checked my account alone. The cheque amount is now displayed in the account balance menu, but not under the available balance. I would be grateful if you could advise me when I will be able to draw on this money that I have placed in to my account.

Normally four working days.
In the U.S., it usually takes 3 – 5 business days for a check to clear. It will depend on how your bank processes transactions. You should ask them when they reopen Monday morning.
