A question from daboywonder2002: why does it take a whole week for my online banking bill pay to go through?
i finally set up online banking.through my bank. and so i added my landlord so i can pay him. but it says he wont receive it until nov 8. why does it take so long??? regular mail will only take 2-3 days

Answer by hottotrot1_usa I’ve had the same problem. Apparently some vendors are set up for electronic funds transfer, and those payments go quickly. Others are not set up for EFT, and so checks are mailed, and it takes the bank a day or two to cut the check, it takes a few days for the mail, etc. The bank doesn’t actually show it as paid until the check has cleared back through the system.

A question from Hitch: Bank Of America Online Banking Question?
I got the following error when I logged into my Bank of America Online Banking session: “Posted Transactions are currently not available. Please try again later.” However it shows my balance as it was a few days ago.
I had $ 3400 that was supposed to post to my account today. Does that mean it could be in there and the online banking isn’t picking it up?

Once the info used like this, it is out of your absolute control.
All it takes is one idiot in some organization to leak your info, or allow a hacker into the database, and you are toast.
Use a debit card, or other ‘one-time’ use account. Some banks have this last feature.

if an online store required a direct deposit(meaning you go to the bank and put the money into there account) instead of doing this can i do it over internet banking(online) because i cant be bothered going to the bank and they dont accept paypal and i dont have a credit card cheers

Yes you can use Internet Banking to do that.
You ought to ask them though what they need you to enter as a refernce to prove you deposited the money.

Answer by Michael F I`m not sure about virtual key board , but for youtube , you will need a flash video player program like adobe or my personal favorite irfanview both are free but irfanview does a whole lot more

Answer by janlaljan Transferring money on line some time in dangerous if some one come to know your password, but I have got a news that transferring money is safe if you soduku type card is going to come, new card has arrived of soduku game type, which locks the passwords once used, different passwords will be given for each transactions that is safe, one bank started operating this system Indian bank name is INDSIND BANK as i come to know from yahoo. news which i have seen on dt:17.03.2010.

I set up an account online yesterday. They gave me an account number and sort code. Does that mean I could go to the bank today and deposit money into the account or do I have to wait for my card to come through in the post?
