I really want to be able to buy things over the internet, but I am rather cautious about fraud. I was hoping that by opening an account that I can transfer the requisite amount of money, and thereby should it get hacked, there would be very little to gain.

If you live in france you need standard telephone access to use the internet but i wonder if its possible to use a credit card to use a wi fi connection thus avoiding hte problem of bank account / telephone line provider
